Scatmat saves couch Mar 08, 2011
By rmiller2 Dog ate previous couch plus 2 covers. Purchased a Scatmat and haven't sustained any damage since. I roll it out when I leave the house and the dog stays away. Magic!

Taught cats quickly Dec 17, 2011
By nrnolan People may think these are cruel, but when a cat has decided your leather sofa is his litter box, desperate measures are called for, and that's where this scat mat is wonderful. It didn't take long at all for them to learn not to get on the sofa, we tried it ourselves and it is not all that painful, but very startling. Now all we have to do is put it on the sofa without even turning it on, and they stay off. Great product!

Excellent product Sep 25, 2011
By Sheryl L Jackson We have a Staffordshire Terrior / Pit Bull mix who is a year & 1/2 and a big baby. He is a great dog, very docile and well behaved. Smart as they come too. He would wait until we closed the door as we were leaving the house and played on the couch, laid on it and assummed it was party time. :). We tried putting tin foil on the couch, bar stools, boxes and variety of items. He would get on the back side of the couch and push them all off. We found these scatmats and that ended his couch days. We have a security system allowing us to watch the vidoes when we return home which were very entertaining watching him push all these other items off the couch, and especially watching him sniff at these mats. It only took two times of sniffing / investigating them with slight static shocks to his nose and he no longer goes anywhere near the couches when they are on them. We keep them on low and our goal is to not need them at all someday. I highly recommend these mats.
These really work Apr 16, 2012
By Laura We have two Dobermans that love to lay on the couch. These were rescues and apparently they were allowed on furniture in their previous homes. We quickly taught them not to get on the furniture, when we are home they don't. Everyday I would come home from work and the cushions and pillows would be on the floor or hanging off the couch. One of the dogs was a nester too so he scratched the heck out of our leather sofa. Luckily these were old couches which we were planning on replacing soon. Of course we had to figure out how to keep them off before buying new furniture. I saw this product read the reviews and thought this could be the answer and IT WAS !! Have been using them for over a month now and no more dogs on the couch. They have several dog beds around the house to sleep on which are now ok to use since the couch is off limits. The shock is mild feels like a pin prick when on high setting. The Dobies are smart so I thought they may pull them off the couch but they just stay away from them. I highly recommend these. Funny story, my husband sat on the love seat before taking off the scat mat. One of the dobermans stood there watching with the funniest look on his face and I swear laughed with me when my husband yelped and jumped up. Keeps husbands off the furniture too, I guess. We ordered new furniture last Saturday. I am ordering one more for the leather chair we just bought.
Awsome works great! Apr 08, 2012
By John This item worked after kitties activated it the first time. Also stopped my dog who has been a lifelong couch potatoe from getting on my new leather cushions. Absolutely worth the investment.
