 Love this collar Jul 28, 2010
This is the best money I have spent on anything....I have a Yorkie..she loves to bark just to hear herself bark...she has been wearing this collar for almost 2 hrs (Just got the collar) and hardly a noise ..and if she does its only a bark or two and she is done...it is so peaceful.... Love this Product...

I'm impressed with the tech of this product. The TV, Shouting, Clapping, Banging, Tapping on the device... none of these trigger the spray. If I make a bark noise (or more importantly, if the dog does) it goes off.
The dog is scared of the spray noise more than the water, she figured it out after only 2 barks...
So why the low rating?
It says safe for puppys and small dogs... My wifes dog is a Chiuhuahua MinPin mix. Shes not the smallest dog I've ever seen, but granted she is a bit thin. This thing is heavy, it also won't stay on her neck properly. If I tighten it anymore she'd be choking. You can tell she's uncomfortable with it on because she can't bend down to eat and she won't jump up on things. Luckily all I have to do is clip it on her when she barks and she stops, 5 minutes later I take it off and we're done with a bark fest for a while.
I just wanted to note that if you have anything Pomeranian or smaller size, see if you can find this product in a store first just so you know what you're getting.

Unfortunately My dog would bark more when he had this on cause he liked the taste. Very annoying. And After opening it they won;t take it back. How was I supposed to know it wouldn't work without opening it?

I followed all the directions exactly, making sure to do everything right. When I filled it and put it on, it worked a few times and then just stopped working. New battery, just filled it, tightened down and everything. Also, my dog is not that small and has short fur, but the item came loose very easily even though I know I put the strap together and put it on right. But it still didn't work even when it was tightened down before it came loose. I don't know why there are so many good reviews, I bought this item based on them and now I'm out $40 plus shipping.

This is the second purchase of this item. It worked well for our first dog and it works just as well for our second dog. They both know not to bark when it is on. It is humane, also.
