i have a 3 year old border collie/lab mix that truely loves the sound of his voice...so much so that i have tried everything to shut him up...i have a friend that is a vet, and he suggested the citronella collar...i was sceptical at first, but this thing really works!...i have to admit, it was pretty funny the first few times he was sprayed...he would tuck his tail and run to me, trying to hide behind me...but he is so smart, it just took a few times...ahhh, blissfully quiet at my house now!...i highly recommend it to amyone with a barking dog problem...now instead of barking, he just makes little sounds in his throat...buy it...you won't be sorry..............:)

I was initially very pleased with the product as it did what it promised... for a while. The dog disliked the citronella and curtailed his barking. However after a couple of weeks it's effectivenness started to wain. It now works for little barking episodes as the squirt seems to remind him to keep quiet. But when he goes into a full- throttled, barking frenzy, he completely ignores it and uses up the contents of the collar and smells like citronella. In retrospect, instead of relying on the collar to stop the barking, I think I should have used more trainig with him in conjunction with the collar. This may have been a more effective way of controlling the barking.

Now I can sleep at night w/out being woken up at 2am, 3am, 4am, and 6am. What a pleasure to walk the dog now! Previously I was always paranoid about walking the non-stop barker b/c other dogs would attack her b/c of her non-stop barking, but now she is so much easier to walk. Only wish the citronella spray would have to be refilled less often, but no biggie.

This product works as advertised. My dog has stopped barking at everything that passes the house or comes near the car when he's aboard. Be aware that you may need a lifetime supply of batteries, I have already ordered 10 more and I don't turn it on all the time. The product need some instructions other then the picture on the package but it works and I'm very happy with the results.

My Chorkie (5lbs) had a barking problem, and it was getting out of control. I looked on-line and the Multivet Anti Bark Spray Collar had the best reviews. I didn't want to spend that much on a barking collar, but now I don't regret it at all. The Multivet Spray Collar has been the best thing I have purchased in a long time. I would recommend this product to everyone looking for a safe, and effective barking collar for their dog. It has worked so well for my dog, and now when I put the collar on her I don't have to turn it on, she just knows not to bark. I love it, and so do my neighbors. I also recommend buying the refills and a couple of batteries.
