I have two small Maltese both about 7 pounds. They barked at everything. I wanted a human way to control the barking and this collar was perfect! It took about 2 times for my dogs to realize a bark = a spary. Now when I put the collar on they are quite and I don't even turn it on anymore!

This Anti-Bark collar has changed my life. I have a Westie who was quite the little barker! Your Anti-Bark collar is AMAZING and it doesn't hurt Fergie in the least. It honestly didn't take her long to figure out that she shouldn't be barking......THANK YOU!!! Now if I could just get my neighbors with the THREE dogs to buy them, my life would be changed forever!!!

My little Maltese growls and barks at everyone. I put this collar on and with one bark the spray shuts him up. Now if I just hold it up and look at it he quiets down. Still when we go out I put it on.

This collar is amazing! My two Jack Russels were barking so much I was getting complaints from neighbors, and it seemed like nothing could stop the barking. This collar has been very effective and today it stopped the toughest barking, the squirrel chase.
After all the instructions about putting the collar together, there is a list of do's and don'ts. Half-way through it says: "To ensure that your dog does not make the connection between you and the spray collar, don't let him see you prepare the device, neither for the first try or for subsequent use. Keep your dog away while you prepare the device as well as when you fill it or change the battery." That is an exact quote.
When I got my 2 anti-bark spray collars and while putting them together, I did not read the whole booklet before starting, so my dogs were watching the whole time. After completing the assembly instructions, I did read all the other stuff, like don't let your dog see, put it on a baby, etc, blah blah. But that statement about not letting your dogs associate you with the collar is complete rubbish, but if they want to say that, it should be said BEFORE the assembly instructions at the top of the page. Dogs will associate the collar with whoever puts it on and takes it off. Whoever wrote this obviously does not know dogs. Your scent will be all over the device by the time you finish assembly and then adjust the collar. They say only put it on for 8-10 hours a day, so you will be taking it off and putting it on every day.
The mesh collar is long enough to fit the largest dogs. Here's a tip: When you are sure you have it just the right size, you can cut off the excess (leave a few inches) and burn the end with a lighter. The fibers will melt and there will be no fraying.

The product works exactly as described. We put it on our chihuahua/pomeranian. Everytime he barked he got sprayed. He would sneeze and keep on going. The first day his barking slowed, then he figured out if he barked a lot in the morning he could empty out the canister and bark as much as he wanted after that. We tried it on our German Shepherd after that and he stopped barking completely. He wouldn't empty the canister everyday. Depends on how stubborn your dog is :(
