So far so good! Feb 11, 2012
By Edie L. We just bought this last night after our neighbors let us know that our dogs bark for hours when we're not home. We set it up right outside the front door and so far, it's working. We have 3 dogs of varying sizes and temperament. The largest dog with the deepest bark has had the biggest improvement; like most other people report in their reviews, we hear one or two loud woofs and then it stops. Our middle sized dog is pretty mellow, so it's hard to tell if she's affected by this but she's never been much of a barker. The little dog? Well, he's a toughie. He's got a piercing, little dog yippie bark, and we're not sure he's hearing the tone over his own barking. But, the good news is that when the big dog doesn't bark, the little guy isn't compelled to bark as much. So all in all, it's a success so far. We're worried that they'll acclimate to the tone, and will start barking again, but until then, it's a cautious 2 thumbs up!

reduces the barking by 50% Dec 15, 2011
By Amnia the neighbor's dog barks constantly, usually at nothing. i am convinced it likes to hear its own voice. this device seems to help. it still barks, but the barking is less. i think. when it barks, it suddenly stops, as if it was startled by something, and then there is usually silence for a minute or two.

Great solution Nov 29, 2011
By Christine I love our birdhouses. We purchased two after a visit from our HOA's code enforcement complained about our dogs deterring people from using the walking path that runs along the backside of our fence. One hangs in a tree at the rear of the property and the other hangs from the house. We found we were able to stop not only our dogs from barking, but also the dogs walking on the other side of our fence. There is a noticeable range and at the very end of it dogs will start barking again... our second house covered the back corner of our neighbors property and stopped their Pitbull from barking and pawing at the fence also. They were so impressed that they also went out and purchased one.

Worthless product Nov 29, 2011
By Clint Campbell I purchased this product a little over a month ago. I has had no discernable effect on our neighbor's barking dog. Initially, it seemed as though the product had a short lived effect (the first 2-3 days) then the dog adjusted to the ultrasonic sound and is barking worse than ever. Don't waste your money.
Worked for one dog, but not the other. May 18, 2012
By Daniel For a larger dog on one side of my house it has worked great. I set it for 7pm to 7am and the barking started just after 7pm, I heard a yelp, and then nothing after that. It was great. However, there is a small dog on the other side that barks rarely. I actually held the product and pointed it directly at the dog and it blinked as if it were working, but the product had no effect on it. My guess is that some dogs are not bothered by the noise or they cannot hear it. I would have given it a 5 star if it worked for the small dog.
