Great product - but not for tiny dogs! Dec 11, 2009
By KUJO I have another of this same collar/same brand that came in different packaging and I use it for my 1 year old German Shepherd pup when he's in his crate.
It's AWESOME.
He barked twice the first time, got sprayed twice, and stopped.
The next time he barked once, got sprayed once, and stopped.
Now, I only turn it on half the time, because just wearing it he knows not to bark. Sometimes I don't even put it on him at all and he still doesn't bark. He will still bark if he hears someone enter the yard or something, but when he is in his crate he doesn't nuisance bark AT ALL.
I think this is a fabulous much more humane product than shock/static collars and suggest trying it before going that route.
NOTE: Though this particular model LOOKS like it is for small dogs, it isn't!
I'd say like 12-14 pounds and up. I bought it for my 6 pound chihuauhas and no way was this going to work for them, wayyyy to large of a spray mechanism for their tiny necks. I will be thrilled one day when someone invents a small enough spray collar for the littlest of pups. But this is not it.
Amazon should post dimensions of the spray unit, it goes on the dog "upright" not side to side, if that makes sense. So his neck has to long enough to accommodate it. The collar itself is fully adjustable.
Small - Medium sized dogs, YES. Tiny dogs, NO.
Large dogs? Probably. I don't know if the trajectory of the spray is designed for huge dogs, the one my GSD wears fits side to side not up and down (hope that makes sense, like, the long side faces up instead of the short side)

Works great! Apr 23, 2010
By P. Kinsky I have a small poodle mix dog. Was a terribly neglected shelter pooch. His bark is terrifically annoying and literally resonates from the tail bone to the base of the hearers brain stem. Not joking. My neighbor bought me a innotek ssb-300 anti bark collar for my little furry friend. I was quite amazed at how quickly it worked, within the first day. It seems, based on reviews I've looked at,that the type of collar needs to be fitted to the personality of your dog. This spray device seems to work well with my little yappity furry friend. One type perhaps may not be suited to the need of your dog, while another for example a shock collar may perhaps be needed for more persistent barkers. I don't know I'm no dog trainer but this one seems to work for my pooch. Thanks innotek for the peace and quiet!

Spray bark collar works well Oct 19, 2009
By Pattie We had a Pet Safe bark control collar for our dog. It broke (my fault) so I replaced it with the Innotek collar which is less $. It is almost identical and works very well for our dog. I highly recommend it.

Worked well at first... Sep 14, 2009

I purchased this collar to train my 6 month old puppy not to bark at everything. It worked very well at first. A few times the collar did not spray when he barked. Overall, it was easy to use and just read the directions before using. But after about four days, the lemon spray just all sprayed out of the collar, drenching my poor puppy's face. I immediately took it off, and turned it off and took out the battery and re-filled it and as soon as i turned it on agian, all the lemon spray sprayed out of it all at once again. I called to exchange. They were out of stock. I bought an older version, less complicated, a simple on/off switch, and it works well.
Overall, I would highly recommend this technique to anyone trying to train their dog not to bark. It is not harmful to a dog and has changed my life! I can finally sleep at night!

Collars do not teach or prevent barking, but training does, and this collar is a humane tool that can effectively aid bark control training. Good quality, durable and easy to use. I have used this collar for over a year.
